Ring size guide: how to find the right size
An Israeli ring size equals the inner circumference of the ring in millimetres minus 40. A finger with a 54 mm circumference wears a size 14. On this site you can choose sizes 7 to 22.
How to measure at home
Method 1: string or a paper strip
- Wrap a thin string or paper strip around the base of the finger that will wear the ring.
- Mark the point where the end meets the string.
- Lay the string along a ruler and measure its length in millimetres — that is the circumference.
- Subtract 40 to get the Israeli size. For example: 55 mm − 40 = size 15.
Method 2: a ring that already fits well
Use a ruler to measure the inside diameter of an existing ring that fits the right finger (from one inner edge to the other). Find the diameter in the last column of the table below. You can also multiply the diameter by 3.14 and subtract 40.
Method 3: not sure? We will arrange it with you
On every ring page there is an option “I’m not sure — arrange the size before production”. We will get back to you before production starts to confirm a size.
Tips for an accurate measurement
- Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are at their widest — not when your hands are cold.
- Measure two or three times on different days and take the average.
- If you fall between two sizes, choose the larger one.
- A wide band fits more snugly, so consider going one size up.
- The knuckle is often wider than the base of the finger — the ring must pass it comfortably.
