Disclosure: lab-grown diamonds and moissanite
Last updated: 24 October 2026
Every diamond sold on this Site is a lab-grown diamond. Where a moissanite stone is chosen, the stone is moissanite — which is not a diamond.
What a lab-grown diamond is
A lab-grown diamond is a real diamond, chemically and physically (carbon, a diamond crystal structure, hardness 10 on the Mohs scale), grown under laboratory conditions instead of being mined. It is not a natural diamond and is not presented as one.
What moissanite is
Moissanite is a different gemstone (silicon carbide) and is not a diamond. On product pages it is always labelled “moissanite”.
How we label
- On a product with a lab-grown diamond, the words “lab-grown diamond” appear next to the word “diamond” in the title and the first lines of the description.
- On a product with moissanite, the title and description do not use the word “diamond” to describe the stone.
- The Site does not show colour or clarity grades of the stones.
- Product images are visualisations for illustration.
Pieces are supplied without a gemological certificate from an external laboratory. Stone details (type, shape and weight or size) are given on the product page.
