What is the difference between a lab-grown and a natural diamond?
A lab-grown diamond is a real diamond — the same carbon, the same crystal and the same optical properties as a natural one. The only difference is the origin: one grows in a laboratory, the other formed in the earth. Lab-grown diamonds are usually less expensive than natural diamonds of similar size and quality. Every product page states clearly that the stone is lab-grown.
Is moissanite a diamond?
No. Moissanite (silicon carbide) is a different gemstone, with rich brilliance and a lower price. On product pages you can choose between a lab-grown diamond and moissanite, and moissanite is always labelled as moissanite — never as a diamond.
How long until I receive my piece?
Every piece is made after you order. The estimated production time is about 14 days, followed by home delivery. An estimated arrival date is shown at checkout before you pay.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes — up to 12 payments, with no surcharge over the cash price. Payment is made on a secure page of the card processor.
How do I know which ring size to choose?
Our ring-size guide explains how to measure at home (with string or an existing ring) and how to convert between sizes. Not sure? Choose “We’ll arrange the size” and we’ll get back to you before production begins.
What about white and yellow gold?
Both are 14K (585) gold. White gold is rhodium-plated over white gold, so the plating can wear over the years. Yellow gold is not plated.
Do you ship abroad?
At this stage we sell and ship within Israel only. You can read the site in English.
How can I talk to a representative?
By phone at 04-6010870 or by email at office@alpha-gold.co.il. Phone answers are provided with the help of an AI-based virtual assistant, and you can ask for a human representative at any time.
How do I clean and care for gold jewellery with a diamond?
Clean gently in lukewarm water with mild soap and a soft brush, and dry softly. Avoid contact with chlorine and strong cleaning agents, and remove the piece during exercise and housework. Store each piece separately to prevent scratches.
What is 14K gold?
14K gold is gold of 585 parts per thousand fineness (58.5% gold). The alloy gives the piece durability for everyday wear. More in our guide to gold hallmarks and the standard.
Do prices include VAT?
Yes. All prices on the Site are in new Israeli shekels and include VAT. Gold-jewellery prices track the gold price and may be updated; the price shown when you confirm the order and pay is binding, and does not change after payment.
Are the images of the piece I will receive?
Product images are visualisations for illustration. The piece is made to order, and there may be slight differences in appearance, tone and sparkle between the visualisation and the actual product.
How do I cancel an order?
You can cancel under the Consumer Protection Law — using the form on the Site, by email at office@alpha-gold.co.il, by phone at 04-6010870 or by registered mail. The “Cancel an order” page sets out the time limits, the cancellation fee and the refund.
How do I track my order?
In “My orders” you sign in with the phone number you gave when ordering and a one-time SMS code, and see production status, estimated arrival and the delivery tracking number when there is one.
Do you sell natural diamonds?
The collection on this site offers jewellery with lab-grown diamonds, and a separate line with moissanite. Our guide “Lab-grown vs natural diamonds” explains the differences.
